Memorial University of Newfoundland's Faculty of Medicine presents the 35th annual Monte Carlo Charity Gala, on Saturday, November 19th, 2011, at the St. John's Convention Centre, doors opening at 7:00pm. This year's event promises to uphold the tradition of a spectacular evening for all.

"Cirque de la Soirée" will be a glamourous, black tie night filled with extravagant lights, decor, music and entertainment, plus a variety of games and auctions with many fabulous prizes to be won. We are also excited to host performances and stunts throughout the evening featuring the local school of acrobatics group Acro-Adix. After the main events wrap up, local cover band Recall will be providing us with their musical stylings for the remainder of the night.

A true charity gala in nature, Monte Carlo is a fundraising event created, organized, and hosted by medical students, with all proceeds to be shared between carefully selected local charities.

The Monte Carlo Committee warmly welcomes one and all to come out and enjoy this fantastic evening with us. This is a 19+ event, valid photo ID will be required at the door. Advanced ticket sales have ended and any purchased tickets can be picked up at Student Affairs or at the door on Saturday night.
